    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join OCDMN as an Assessment Specialist and Program Lead. This dual role involves delivering comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments for OCD, ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and related conditions, as well as leading the development and refinement of our assessment program. You will collaborate with leadership to establish protocols, select tools, and expand services to meet the needs of our community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct diagnostic evaluations through clinical interviews, standardized testing, and interpretation of results.

    • Testing Administration: Administer, score, and interpret a variety of instruments, such as ADOS-2, WISC-V, WAIS-IV, BASC-3, BRIEF, and Y-BOCS.

    • Detailed Reporting: Write thorough, user-friendly diagnostic reports with actionable recommendations tailored to clients’ unique needs.

    • Feedback Sessions: Provide clear and empathetic feedback to clients, families, and referring providers to explain assessment findings and recommendations.

    • Collaboration: Work with OCDMN’s multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care and integrated treatment planning.

    • Program Leadership:

      • Establish protocols and workflows for conducting assessments.

      • Select and evaluate assessment tools and measures.

      • Train and mentor team members in assessment practices.

      • Monitor and improve the quality and efficiency of assessment services.

    • Consultation: Engage with families, schools, and professionals to provide holistic, actionable recommendations, including IEP/504 plan guidance.

    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with ethical and professional standards.

    • Professional Development: Stay current on advancements in psychological and neuropsychological assessment practices.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Educational Background: Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Neuropsychology (PhD or PsyD).

    • Licensure: Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Minnesota.

    • Assessment Expertise: Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological and neuropsychological tests.

    • Specialized Knowledge: Experience diagnosing neurodevelopmental conditions, such as OCD, ADHD, and autism.

    • Autism-Specific Expertise: Advanced training in autism assessment measures (e.g., ADOS-2, CARS, ADI-R).

    • Educational Assessments: Familiarity with interpreting assessments for IEP/504 plan recommendations in educational settings.

This position involves providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment to children and adolescents (ages 5-17) with OCD, anxiety, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), selective mutism, autism, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), sensory processing issues, and tic disorders such as Tourette syndrome. Your expertise will support young clients and their families, helping them manage and overcome symptoms while fostering resilience and overall well-being.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Comprehensive Assessments: Perform thorough evaluations to accurately diagnose OCD, anxiety, ARFID, selective mutism, autism, BFRBs, sensory processing issues, and tic disorders.     • Collaboration and Family Engagement: Work closely with families to empower them with strategies to support their child outside of therapy. Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.

    • Monitor Progress and Adjust Treatment: Regularly assess client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and evaluate outcomes with appropriate measures.

    • Education and Support: Provide education and resources to clients and families about OCD, anxiety, ARFID, autism, BFRBs, sensory processing issues, and tic disorders.
